FIELD VERIFICATION

On-site verification of Schattdecor surfaces

The brevi customer authorization letter states that Schattdecor-manufactured surfaces bearing the “schattdecor” logo can be checked under fluorescent illumination for what the letter calls a “banknote laser anti-counterfeiting mark”.

Demonstration conditions

In a dim environment, illuminate the surface with a 365 nm UVA inspection lamp. A fluorescent “schattdecor” mark can be observed and used to check whether the surface bears the Schattdecor anti-counterfeiting mark.

Full-board distribution

Based on brevi’s full-board physical verification, the original Schattdecor fluorescent marks are densely distributed at an angle of approximately 45°, with 120 marks across a full board. Conventionally cut components, including smaller drawer fronts, therefore retain practical areas where the mark can be observed and checked on site.

Document basis

The authorization letter specifies fluorescent illumination. The 365 nm wavelength, approximately 45° distribution, and 120 marks per full board are recorded from brevi’s full-board physical verification.

This anti-counterfeiting mark verifies the Schattdecor-manufactured surface only. It does not establish the substrate, environmental rating, physical performance, or test result of the finished board; those claims require the corresponding product documents and test reports.
